The Society / Company Golf Days

Societies/Companies are welcomed to Bentley Golf Club on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays subject to availability.

Packages

We are pleased to offer a range of packages from 18, 27 through to 36 holes of golf. Catering will be arranged through our Catering Manager (please see the booking form for specific details). Vegetarian and other dietary requirements will be catered for provided advance notification is received.

Tee Off Times

The Office and Pro Shop will do its best to accommodate a tee off time that you request subject to availability.

Numbers

There is no minimum number of players but a maximum of 40, unless prior arrangement has been made through the office. In addition you are welcome to include non-playing guests, in which case only the cost of catering will be charged. (Please note, a minimum number of 10 are required for a cooked breakfast.)

Numbers must be confirmed at least 48 hours before the event. Should there be a shortfall of confirmed numbers on the day, the full cost of Green Fee and Catering will be charged.

Only catering costs will be charged for any current, playing members of Bentley Golf Club, a golf club Captain in his year of office, current members of the PGA and Secretaries who are members of the AGCS. Proof must be provided on the day and prior notification is required.

"Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive"

If you would like to hold a "Nearest the Pin" and "Longest Drive" competition, we recommend the 8th hole for "Nearest the Pin" and 14th for the "Longest Drive". Signs may be borrowed for these competitions from the Professional Shop. We require a £5.00 returnable deposit. Please return these either to the Professional Shop or Clubhouse at the end of your visit.

Buggies and Trolleys

Buggies - there are four electric buggies available for hire, if you would like to book these in advance please complete the section in the booking form. (If four buggies are booked in advance a discount of 25% will be allowed. and trolleys must be purchased through our Professional, Nick Garrett or Assistant Professional, Michael Utteridge. They will be happy to help with the purchase of Stroke Savers, balls, clothing, etc., and can be contacted on 01277 372933.

Buggy Costs

Payment

Unless prior alternative arrangements have been made with the Managing Secretary, full payment is required on the day and should be made at the office before you start your afternoon round. Payment for the catering should be settled at the end of your meal with either the Catering Manager or Restaurant staff.

Payment for the Green Fee should be made by cash or cheque, which should be made payable to "Bentley Golf Club Limited". Please note we do NOT have credit card facilities for the payment of Green Fees and catering.

Booking

If a date has not been provisionally agreed then please contact Bentley Golf Club on 01277 373179 before completing the Booking Form.

If a provisional date has already been agreed for your Society/Company to visit, then please complete and return the booking form and menu, indicating your choices for lunch/dinner from the menu (please select one option from each selection for your lunch and dinner as your meal must be the same for all members) together with a cheque for £100.00 being a non-returnable deposit. The deposit will then be deducted from your account.

MAY I REMIND YOU THAT WE OPERATE A DRESS CODE BOTH IN THE CLUBHOUSE AND ON THE GOLF COURSE. TO AVOID EMBARRASSMENT PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE PROPERLY ATTIRED.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT IF YOU OR ANY MEMBER OF YOUR GROUP DO NOT CONFORM TO THE DRESS CODE YOU MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE.

THE DRESS CODE IS AS FOLLOWS:

DENIM JEANS AND TRAINERS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT ANY TIME ON OR OFF THE COURSE

Clubhouse Lounge

Up to 7pm normal golf attire is permitted, with the exception of golf shoes.
Golf shoes are NOT permitted at any time in the lounge.

After 7pm Gentleman may wear smart casual, ie shirts with collars that are buttoned all the way up the front. Ladies will be expected to maintain reasonable standards of dress.

On Course

SHIRTS
Always with a collar, never without always wear tucked into waistband of trousers or shorts with the exception of ladies.

SHORTS
Always tailored and no more than 2” above the knee.

SOCKS
Either short & white (calf length)
never short & coloured or long socks (knee length any colour).

GOLF SHOES
Always wear socks with shoes.
